This job requires you to work outside a lot no matter the weather conditions. Job requires numerous trips from main dealership to Fleet lot daily.
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Director of Operations and the Director of Operations' team in daily operations. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of drivers, scheduling, and tracking inventory. This job will require computer skills.

Essential Duties:

• Work with drivers to ensure they are well informed, on time, safe, and ready to work.
• Work with the office manager to ensure all drivers are well informed, on time, safe, and ready to work.
• Work with the Director of Operations to ensure all drivers are well informed, on time, safe, and ready to work.
• Ensure all vehicles are detailed, have all components, free of damage and ready for the next day’s route.
• Track inventory and order supplies for delivery.
• Communicate with office manager on daily routes and schedule deliveries.
• Communicate with sales to ensure proper add-ons & upfitting is installed.
• Communicate with upfitters to order items and schedule upfits
• Communicate with team about daily routes and schedule deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills: The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, willingness to learn new skills, responsible, able to perform under pressure, able to meet deadlines and be able to work independently or in a team environment. The ideal candidate will also be able to work safely with their hands as well as have a good sense of direction when driving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
